Sleight
Ensemble
Founded in 2015, Sleight Ensemble is a group of composer/performers focused on the realization of new music in the San Francisco Bay Area. Featuring Erika Oba (flute), Stephanie Neumann (saxophones and voice), and Jacob Lane (piano), Sleight’s 2024–2025 program, Bay Transit: Futures and Artifacts, takes inspiration from the Bay Area’s active and historic transit networks. This multimedia program features an original film by Oakland-based filmmaker Alan Zignoto accompanied by compositions written by ensemble members.
